Her grab is a DI 50-50 in most situations, so it is not "easy" to DI out of. Its really strong in neutral with how disjointed, lagless, and quick it comes out. Try to figure out when you have opportunities to go for early tippers and what you can convert them into (kills, combo extensions, etc.) Nair almost always tippers in its current form and can be followed up on typically. If the opponent is always DI'ing in, you should be able to combo them until they reach kill percents. If the opponent is consistently DI'ing away, you should be able to get early tipper kills. Her punish game is not "super easy" to DI out of. Even then, with the range and the ability to drift back, those aerials shouldn't be whiff punishable without a timing/spacing read. Nair and fair are not laggy unless you're comparing to auto-cancellable aerials. Penguin and Ralph still play the character quite a bit amongst other good players. Since she is still very new she can still be tweaked. I don't want this to be toxic it just kinda bugs me that she exists the way she does right now. I know this is more of rant but is there any high level play after the nerf? Also, discussion is highly welcome. Basicly, can somebody please explain to me what in the fudge she is supposed to do against the cast? her aerials are shit, her neutral is shit, her recovery is shit and the combo game is good, but doesn't come close to actually making up for the lack of things mentioned above. Her grab is a good way to extend combos sometimes but even that is to easy to DI out of. Her tilts are good, for sure, but don't make for her lack of good aerial options. Don't even get me started on her recovery. ![]() besides, Nair being the way it is doesn't fit into her spacing kit imo, since hit has way to many hits to actually connect the tipper. Nair/Fair are laggy and nair doesn't even have that much range. I don't play her myself but It's so easy to whiff punish anything she trys to throw out and she realy isn't fast enough to make up for it. Okay, seriously wtf is clairen supposed to be sooo good at that everyone calls her dumb and OP.
